Power Voting Pledge

We are asking independent businesses and non-profits
to make a 3-part pledge:

1- A pledge to encourage their employees to register to vote at their current address, and to provide employees with the information and paperwork necessary to register or update their registration.

VoteAVL will provide physical voter registration forms to your business or non-profit upon request, and will then collect completed forms and submit them to the Board of Elections for processing before the deadline! Otherwise, links to online voter registration is available here at our website, VoteAVL.org!

2- A pledge to provide non-partisan information about the candidates and issues that will be on the ballot, so that their employees can make an educated choice.

VoteAVL will provide physical comprehensive voter guides upon request to participating businesses and non-profits, and request that these guides be distributed to employees and/or left in clear sight in common areas, such as break rooms. Otherwise, voter guides are available here at our website, VoteAVL.org!

3- A pledge to allow each employee ample time to vote on Election Day, if they are unable to vote beforehand, and to help their employees locate their proper polling location.

We ask that you schedule your employees so they have to cast their ballots. The time you allow may be paid or unpaid, but there must be no penalization for the time your employees take in order to participate in the election. Remember that Early Voting and Absentee Voting make it even easier to make time to vote!

If you are an independent business or non-profit owner,
or have the authority to speak for one,
and would like to make the pledge,
please do so here:
